How much does a luxury charter boat cost to hire?

Short term luxury yacht cruises start from $950 per hour for a yacht like Felix, and increase to $3500 per hour for a superyacht like Rascal.

What other fees are involved?

Yes, yacht fees can be complex with every charter boat having a different fee schedule, but this is where we can make it easy for you. Most charters will have a charter hire fee, wharf fees, waitstaff fees, BYO fees, and where interested, catering and beverage options.

How do I hire a luxury charter boat?

Step one is to get in touch with us, either by calling or emailing bookings@lifestylecharters.com.au. We will help you choose the perfect hire boat for your occasion and prepare a cost proposal for your review and approval. Your booking is secured with the payment of a deposit, which depending on the yacht is $1000 or 50% of the total charter rate. The final invoice is due 14 days prior to the event.

How long is a luxury charter cruise?

For event charters, including corporate events, birthday celebrations or other social family events, 4 hours is the average cruise. This allows enough time for a gorgeous harbour cruise, anchor to enjoy a delicious meal and a swim, before you cruise back to the wharf for departure. Most charter boats on Sydney Harbour run day or evening short term charter for a minimum of 4 hours in the summer and 3 hours in the winter. Transfers and wedding transfers are also possible.

Where can the boat pick us up?

Each boat will have its preferred wharves to ensure a safe and efficient pick up and this is something we can work with you to find a suitable wharf for both you and the yacht. All boats will pick up and drop off from King Street Wharf.

What if it rains or there is bad weather? Will the yacht cancel the cruise?

Don’t let a little rain dampen your party! After hosting parties on the harbour for more than seven years, rain has never affected the overall experience and success of an event – guests have always had an incredible time regardless. Only if conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain on the day will a charter be cancelled. If you need to cancel or postpone an event, speak to us at your earliest availability.

What is the cancellation policy?

All our boats have their own cancellation policies which apply to your booking once secured. Generally speaking, deposits are non-refundable however this will be confirmed upon booking. Cancellations made 59 to 30 days prior: deposit is non-refundable. If the vessel takes another booking in the same time frame for the same value, the deposit can be refunded. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior: full payment is non-refundable. If the vessel takes another booking in the same time frame for the same value, the money paid can be refunded less any catering charges incurred by the vessel.
